The Tokai University Press is one of the affiliated institutions of the Tokai University Educational System (TES). Since its establishment in 1962, the Tokai University Press has fulfilled a part of the university's mission in education, research and enlightenment of public through its publication activities. The works of Sigeyoshi Matsumae, founder of TES, as well as the university's textbooks and technical books covering various fields have been published to be broadly used. Publication of the results of academic research is another important role of the Press. Both domestic and foreign academic worlds benefit from the English version of writings published by the Press. The Press also publishes collections of dissertations compiled by the schools of Tokai University.
